Life in Alaska

In August, we were treated to spectacular weather in Juneau, Alaska. We took advantage of the sunshine and rented kayaks in Auke Bay which is a few miles north of our capital city. The water was calm and my daughter Chelsea, boyfriend Gary and I paddled to an island and had a picnic lunch. Gary had to take off later that day and took the picture (bottom right of where we had kayaked) out of the Alaska Airlines flight he was on. -- Cheryl |

| The Alaskan Brewing Company is located in Juneau. Alaskan Amber beer has received several awards for its taste (www.alaskanbeer.com). Chelsea is in the tasting room at the company's plant. Below is Tony Hand who gave us our tour. The ship in the middle picture was made out of glass bottles by an employee.
