We drove the Denali Highway from East to West in September, 2003. Here we're approaching the Susitna River, sometimes call the Big Su to distinguish it from the Little Susitna River. Even here, north of the confluence with the Talkeetna and Chulitna Rivers, it's a BIG river. |
