Tom Soucek Moose Kiss Card

$3.95

The largest living member of the deer family, bulls can weigh from 1000 to 1600 pounds. Only the bulls grow antlers, which can measure just over six feet from tip to tip. Antlers are shed between November and January. Moose is an Ojibway word meaning "to cut smooth" which is what a moose does when it browses. Note the broken antler tip from a battle with another bull during the rut. Photograph by Tom Soucek.
