About Stoked Beekeeping:
Through the progression of our intense Alaskan summer, a huge diversity of native flowers present themselves to our bees. Our bees forage hard to make the most of the short two months of nectar flow. We receive around 20 hours of daylight in the peak of the summer up here in the last frontier! They don't call it the land of the midnight sun for no reason! Our bees produce two types of Alaskan Honey.
Alaskan Fireweed Honey - Comes from our pristine subalpine fireweed meadows. In late July our hills become painted with fields of beautiful magenta blossoms. Described as lightly floral and delicate; it goes great in tea and as a featured garnish on sweet and savory delights. It pairs well with just about anything! We consistently hear from our costumers that, "this is the best honey I have ever had." It truly is a beautiful honey.
Tasting Notes: Cake batter, lightly fruity, delicately lingers, slight buttery finish. Beautiful water white color!
