Bad Bob’s Alaskan Beard Wash is a gentle foaming wash for your beard and face. It cleanses, leaves skin and facial hair smooth, clean, moisturized, and healthy looking. It’s loaded with plenty of hydrating and anti-inflammatory ingredients that help keep your beard – and the skin underneath – well conditioned. Ideal for normal to sensitive skin. Use 1-3 times a week; gentle enough to use every day.
Why beard wash? Your beard is unique – it’s different than the hair on your head and needs different cleaning and conditioning care. So if you’re using regular shampoo on your beard, stop! The chemicals in hair shampoos will strip your beard of its natural oils and could leave your beard and facial skin dry and brittle. Meet "Bad Bob"
Bob Reynolds – winner of the 2022 Anchorage Fur Rendezvous "Mountain Goat" beard contest – has been growing beards on and off for more than 50 years. After supposedly retiring in 2015, he started growing longer beards and began tinkering with beard oil ingredients to combat Alaska's dry, cold, windy and otherwise unforgiving climate. He tried and tested many formulations, judging each on various aspects including hydration, softness, control, scent, and whether or not his wife liked the results.
What he discovered was a formula that works exceptionally well in harsh conditions and smells great, too. And Bad Bob's Alaskan Beard Products was born.
Bob lives in Eagle River, Alaska, with his wife Hope and their Bernese mountain dog, Reggie. (No mountain dogs were used in testing his products!)
